The shopping trip that started it
Hi, I am Abisola, founder of EzyCarto.
In early 2024, I went looking for a taste of home, something I had missed since moving to the UK. I drove to a favourite grocer with a simple plan: pick up the item, pay and go home happy. The shelf was empty.
That happens. Stores run out. But the same kind of friction kept showing up in different places.
- Walking through unfamiliar aisles just to find one product.
- Gift cards failing at self checkout and sending shoppers back to the queue.
- Helpful staff who recognised regular customers but had no clear way to see recurring stock problems.
I could not stop thinking about it. The problem was not that retailers did not care. The problem was that the tools around them made simple work feel scattered. So I began speaking with store managers, watching inventory routines and studying checkout flows late into the night.
EzyCarto grew from that frustration. It is built to help a store take payment, keep stock cleaner, understand customers and see what is happening in the business without jumping between separate systems.
Nimbloom builds for the long run
EzyCarto is the first product from Nimbloom, a small studio focused on tools that are useful, calm and built to last. We are not interested in software that looks impressive for a month and then becomes another burden. The aim is simple: build products that can grow with real businesses.
